FOCUSED LEADERSHIP SUPPORT
Leadership & Business Reset
When growth or change has created too many priorities, unclear accountability and slower decisions, a focused reset helps the leadership team regain direction.
The Leadership & Business Reset is a focused engagement for organisations that are working hard but no longer moving with enough clarity or consistency.
I help the CEO and leadership team step back, understand what is creating friction and agree the priorities, decisions and practical changes needed to move forward.
You leave with a shared view of what matters, clearer leadership priorities and a practical plan for the next 90 days.
Start with a free, confidential 30-minute conversation.

WHEN TO CONSIDER A RESET
The organisation is moving—but not with enough focus.
A Business Reset is particularly valuable during growth, organisational change or sustained pressure, when the leadership team no longer has enough space to step back and see the whole picture.
These challenges rarely require more activity. They require the leadership team to pause, make sense of what has changed and agree a clearer way forward.
The reset creates the space and structure to do that without introducing a large or disruptive change programme.

Priorities keep multiplying
Too many competing priorities
Everything appears important, making it difficult to decide where leadership attention, time and resources should be focused.

Decisions have slowed
Decisions are taking too long
Issues are repeatedly discussed, ownership is unclear or too many decisions return to the CEO.

Leadership is not fully aligned
Leaders are working from different assumptions
Senior people may agree on the broad direction but hold different views about priorities, responsibilities or what should happen next.

Delivery is losing momentum
Activity is not creating enough progress
Teams are working hard, but important actions are delayed, duplicated or lost among competing day-to-day demands.
WHAT HAPPENS
A focused process that turns complexity into clear action.
Every reset is shaped around the organisation, but the work typically follows four stages. I combine confidential listening, practical analysis and focused leadership discussion to identify what needs to change.
01
Listen and understand
I begin with the CEO or organisational sponsor to understand what has changed, where pressure is showing and what a successful reset needs to achieve.
We agree the scope, the people who should be involved and the questions the reset needs to answer.
This may include:
- Initial sponsor conversation
- Review of the business context
- Agreement on scope and intended outcomes
02
Diagnose the underlying issues
I gather insight from key leaders and review the information needed to understand how priorities, decisions, accountability and delivery currently work.
This allows us to distinguish the visible symptoms from the issues creating them.
This may include:
- Confidential leadership conversations
- Review of current priorities and plans
- Review of meetings, governance and reporting
- Identification of decision and accountability gaps
03
Agree what matters now
I bring the leadership team together for a focused working session to share the findings, test assumptions and agree the most important priorities and decisions.
The aim is not simply to create discussion. It is to build a shared understanding and make clear choices.
This may include:
- Facilitated leadership reset session
- Agreement on the critical priorities
- Clarification of ownership and decisions
- Identification of work to stop, simplify or defer
04
Create the 90-day reset plan
I translate the agreed direction into a practical plan, with clear actions, owners, decisions and review points.
We establish the leadership rhythm needed to maintain focus and prevent the organisation from returning to old patterns.
This may include:
- Prioritised 90-day action plan
- Clear ownership and accountabilities
- Decision and escalation routes
- Recommended leadership meeting rhythm
- Follow-up progress review
Typical Format
The Leadership & Business Reset is usually delivered over four to 6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the organisation.
It normally includes:
- Initial work with the CEO or sponsor
- Confidential conversations with selected leaders
- Review of relevant plans and ways of working
- One focused leadership alignment session
- A practical 90-day reset plan
- A follow-up review to assess progress
The scope is agreed in advance so you know what is included, who needs to participate and what the reset will produce.
The Clarity–Alignment–Rhythm Framework™ guides every stage:
- Clarity: What matters, what needs to change and which decisions must be made
- Alignment: What leaders need to agree and who is responsible
- Rhythm: How decisions, communication and progress will be maintained
What you receive
The outputs are designed to be used—not filed away.
They provide the leadership team with a shared reference point for decisions, accountability and progress during the following 90 days.
01
An independent diagnosis
A concise view of where clarity, alignment and leadership rhythm are breaking down—and the organisational impact this is creating.
This identifies:
The issues requiring leadership attention, not simply the visible symptoms.
02
A focused set of priorities
Agreement on what matters most now, which decisions need to be made and what should be stopped, simplified or deferred.
This creates:
A shared focus for the leadership team.
03
A 90-day reset plan
A practical plan setting out the agreed actions, owners, timings, dependencies and immediate decisions.
This provides:
A clear route from leadership discussion to delivery.
04
A recommended leadership rhythm
Clear guidance on how leaders will make decisions, review progress, communicate priorities and address emerging issues.
This supports:
Consistent follow-through after the reset ends.
THE DIFFERENCE IT MAKES
From competing demands to focused delivery.
The reset creates a shared understanding of what is getting in the way and what the leadership team must do differently.
The intended change is practical as well as cultural.

Before the Reset
- Everything appears equally important.
- Decisions are slow or continually return to the CEO.
- Meetings create discussion but insufficient action.
- Leaders are working from different assumptions.
- Progress is difficult to see.
- The CEO or founder is holding too much together.
The business impact
Clearer priorities reduce wasted effort. Faster decisions maintain momentum. Stronger accountability gives the CEO greater capacity to focus on growth, customers and the future of the organisation.

After the Reset
- The critical priorities are agreed.
- Decision ownership is clearer.
- Meetings focus on action and progress.
- Leaders share the same understanding.
- Actions and owners are visible.
- Responsibility is better distributed.
The business impact:
The reset does not solve every organisational challenge immediately.
It gives the leadership team the clarity, decisions and operating discipline required to address those challenges effectively.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU
Designed for organisations ready to make clear choices.
The Leadership & Business Reset works best when the senior team recognises that the current way of operating is creating unnecessary pressure and is prepared to examine what needs to change.

Right for you
The reset could be right for you if:
- Your organisation is growing, changing or entering a new phase.
- Competing priorities are reducing leadership focus.
- Important decisions are taking too long.
- The CEO or founder remains involved in too many operational issues.
- Leadership responsibilities or accountabilities have become unclear.
- Senior leaders are willing to have honest, constructive conversations.
- You want practical decisions and actions—not simply a report.
You do not need to know whether a Business Reset is the right answer before contacting me.

Not right for you
The reset may not be right if:
- The required direction has already been agreed and you primarily need project management support.
- You are looking for individual executive coaching rather than organisational work.
- The leadership team is not prepared to discuss priorities, accountability or ways of working.
- You need a formal financial, legal, HR or regulatory audit.
- You want a predetermined answer to be presented as an independent assessment.
- The organisation requires immediate crisis or turnaround management.
Our initial conversation will help us understand the challenge and determine whether a reset, another form of support or a different specialist would be most appropriate.
Does your leadership team need space to reset and refocus?
If competing priorities, slow decisions or unclear accountability are making the organisation harder to lead, let’s explore what is happening.
