ONGOING SENIOR SUPPORT
Fractional Strategy & Delivery Partner

Experienced senior capacity to help you maintain focus, coordinate critical priorities and turn leadership decisions into delivery.
Growing organisations do not always need another permanent senior appointment. Sometimes, the CEO, founder, MD or People Leader needs a trusted partner who can hold the wider picture, create structure around important work and ensure agreed priorities continue moving.
I work alongside you on a flexible, fractional basis—connecting strategy, leadership decisions and practical delivery.
See how I helped a growing operational business turn fragmented priorities, risks and actions into one clear foundation for delivery.
When additional senior capacity makes the difference
The direction may be clear—but the leadership capacity to maintain delivery is stretched.
Fractional support is particularly valuable when important organisational work needs greater coordination, structure and follow-through, but a permanent appointment is not required.
This is not primarily a diagnostic engagement. It is practical, ongoing support that helps agreed priorities remain visible, coordinated and moving.

The CEO is carrying too much
Too much depends on the CEO
Important actions, decisions and relationships repeatedly return to the CEO or founder because no one else is holding the whole picture.

Priorities lose momentum
Critical priorities are drifting
The leadership team agrees what needs to happen, but day-to-day demands continually push important work down the agenda.

Work crosses organisational boundaries
Delivery is fragmented
Important priorities require input from several teams, but coordination, dependencies and ownership are not sufficiently clear.

Visibility is limited
Progress is difficult to see
Leaders receive updates, but do not have a consistent view of actions, decisions, risks and emerging issues.
HOW I SUPPORT YOU
Connecting leadership intent with practical organisational delivery.
The precise remit is agreed around the needs of the organisation. My role is to create focus, coordination and follow-through across the priorities that require senior attention.
01
Maintain strategic focus
Keep critical priorities visible
I help translate leadership decisions into a manageable set of priorities, actions and review points.
This can include:
- Maintaining the leadership priority plan
- Clarifying owners and dependencies
- Tracking critical decisions and actions
- Identifying priorities that are drifting
- Challenging unnecessary activity
02
Strengthen leadership governance
Create structure around delivery
I establish practical governance that gives leaders visibility without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
This can include:
- Leadership agendas and forward plans
- Decision and action tracking
- Progress and risk reporting
- Escalation routes
- Preparation for key leadership discussions
03
Coordinate cross-functional delivery
Connect work across the organisation
I work across functions to ensure that important priorities, dependencies and decisions do not become fragmented.
This can include:
- Bringing the right stakeholders together
- Clarifying cross-functional responsibilities
- Resolving gaps or conflicting expectations
- Maintaining momentum between meetings
- Escalating obstacles requiring leadership action
04
Provide trusted senior partnership
I provide the CEO, founder, MD or People Leader with an experienced, independent partner who understands both the commercial and human dimensions of organisational delivery.
This can include:
- Testing thinking and assumptions
- Providing constructive challenge
- Preparing for important decisions
- Identifying emerging organisational risks
- Creating space for strategic thinking
A FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENT BUILT AROUND YOUR NEEDS
Senior support where it creates the greatest value.

The Format
Fractional support is usually provided for an agreed number of days each month over an initial period.
Depending on the requirement, this might include:
- Regular time working with the CEO or sponsor
- Participation in selected leadership meetings
- Independent coordination between meetings
- Progress, action and decision reporting
- Support for a defined portfolio of strategic priorities
We agree the remit, working pattern, access and intended outcomes before the engagement begins.
The outcomes: Important work becomes more visible and coordinated.
Leaders have greater confidence in delivery.
The CEO or sponsor has more space to lead rather than continually holding together the detail.

What the client receives
- A clear and maintained view of critical priorities
- Greater visibility of progress, risks and decisions
- Stronger coordination across teams and functions
- Consistent follow-through between leadership meetings
- Constructive challenge from an experienced senior partner
- More leadership capacity for strategy, growth and customers
SUITABILITY
Is Fractional Support right for you?
It could be right if:
- The organisation has clear ambitions but limited senior capacity.
- The CEO, founder or People Leader is carrying too many priorities.
- Important work crosses several teams or functions.
- Leadership decisions are not consistently becoming action.
- You need support for a transition, growth phase or period of change.
- You want experienced capacity without making a permanent appointment.
- You value independent thinking and constructive challenge.
It may not be right if:
- You primarily need administrative support.
- You require a full-time operational manager.
- The organisation has not agreed what it is trying to achieve.
- You need a specialist legal, financial or technical adviser.
- You are looking only for occasional coaching conversations.
- Leaders are unwilling to share information or delegate meaningful responsibility.
Fractional support depends on trust, access and a clearly agreed mandate. We will establish these expectations before any engagement begins.
